Which driving-licence route applies?
EU/EEA/Swiss licences, ordinary non-EU licences, and Ukrainian licences held under temporary protection are different legal routes. A Ukrainian nationality alone does not establish the temporary-protection route.

For relevant valid non-EU licences, driving in Poland is generally recognised for six months from the start of permanent or temporary residence, subject to conventions and special rules.
Official source: ELIA valid Ukrainian licence is recognised under a special EU rule if the person actually enjoys temporary or adequate national protection. This is different from the ordinary six-month rule.
