What to check
- The housing allowance depends, among other things, on household income, lawful housing basis and housing costs. Obtain the local form from the gmina/OPS/MOPS.
- The decision should be issued within one month; a positive allowance is granted for six months. An appeal is filed through the authority that made the decision.
- If a necessary fact is unknown, use the verification route rather than treating the condition as confirmed.
