Check a VAT taxpayer and account in the official White List before payment where this matters for the transaction.
What to do
1. Search using the appropriate identifier and record the check date.
2. Keep the result; do not submit a CEIDG application for an ordinary lookup.
Official lookup
Open the official VAT taxpayer list and enter NIP, REGON, name or account number and the check date. The result shows VAT status and accounts published for the taxpayer. If an account is missing, retain the search result, verify the date and use the official tax route before paying.
