What to check
- Start with your residence document and the basis on which you stay in Poland. Lawful stay alone does not necessarily mean an unrestricted right to work.
- If the right depends on a permit, an employer declaration or a particular role, verify it before work begins. Do not rely on an employer's verbal assurance alone.
